People don’t always pause movies to find a hidden message left by the director. Other times people hit the pause button because the actress or actor they have a crush on is looking pretty amazing, and probably aren’t wearing many clothes. Some of the most paused moments in cinema have featured the clothe-free bodies of Hollywood’s best and beautiful. Those moments often gained more attention than the movies did themselves. People remember Fast Times at Ridgemont High more for the scene with Phoebe Cates coming out of the swimming pool than they do for anything else that happened in the movie.
